of all the designs i can finally show people with confidence WHY is it you first, chimchar, u big baby

first off i'd like to apologize to magu because haha i'm sorry i pretty much stole the way you do your character bios \(^o^)/

basically i thought chimchar wearing a suit-like thing doesn't work at all when he has to go into fights 90% of the time. that's why i threw the old design out of my mind window and remade his clothes all over again. i wanted him to be relatively lightweight to suit his hand-to-hand combat, and that's why he only has a vest for the upper torso. chimchar's gloves and pauldron are passed down from his parents. who the knuckles come from is obvious, and i guess the origin of the pauldron is also easy enough to figure out?

btw if you've ever played or seen enough of bravely default, you might find this design a bit familiar. that's because it... kinda is....

anyway i still have lots more gijinka designs to come in the near (?) future, because i redesigned pretty much everyone and made new designs for other people i haven't touched! there's also a main-ish character that got completely replaced, so stay tuned for that?
